At AutAid, we understand that caring for an autistic individual can be both rewarding and challenging. We recognise that parents and caregivers need support and occasional relief to maintain their well-being while providing the best care for their loved ones. That’s where our Short-Term Respite Services come in.
What Is Short-Term Respite?
Short-Term Respite at AutAid is a lifeline for families of autistic individuals. It offers a temporary break for parents and caregivers, allowing them to take a well-deserved pause, recharge, for up to 6 hours at a time allowing them to tend to their own needs, knowing that their loved one is in a safe and supportive environment.

We understand that each individual is unique, with specific needs and preferences. Our Short-Term Respite Services are tailored as much as possible to accommodate your loved one’s requirements and interests.
Experienced and Compassionate Staff
Our team is led by professionals with expertise in working with individuals on the autism spectrum. They approach their work with empathy, patience, and a deep commitment to providing the best care, always.

Our primary goal is to provide a sanctuary of rest and rejuvenation for caregivers and their loved ones. We anticipate opening our first four centres before the end of 2024, with many more following soon after.
