Activities & Facilities

Activies & Facilities

At AutAid, we’re committed to creating an environment where autistic individuals can learn, explore, and interact in a safe and nurturing space while their carers get some much-needed downtime.  Our range of activities and state-of-the-art facilities are designed to provide a positive and enriching experience for our participants. Here’s a glimpse of what we plan to offer:

Activities For Autistic Individuals

Our activities will be carefully curated to cater to the unique needs and interests of autistic children and adults. These activities promote skill development, self-expression, and social interaction. Some of the activities we plan to offer include:

Art & Creative Expression

Through painting, drawing, and various art forms, individuals can express themselves and explore their creativity.

Music & Movement

Music therapy and movement activities help develop sensory awareness and improve motor skills.

Sensory Play

Our sensory play activities engage individuals in a world of textures, colors, and sensations, providing a multisensory experience.

Social Skill Building

We focus on developing communication and social interaction skills through structured activities and games.

Life Skill Training

Practical life skills, such as cooking, are taught in a supportive and controlled setting.

Outdoor Play

We have a secure outdoor play area where participants can enjoy physical activities and fresh air.

Customised Programming

At AutAid, we understand that each individual is unique. That’s why we will always try to tailor our activities to meet our participants’ specific needs and interests. Our teams will work closely with families to create a personalised plan that ensures a positive and enriching experience for everyone.

Our Proposed Facilities

Our proposed facilities are designed to provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive space for all participants. Whilst we will try our utmost to have the facilities in all of our centres, unfortunately, some will not benefit of outdoor play areas due to their geographic location. With that said, here’s what you can expect at AutAid day centres :

Sensory Rooms

Our sensory rooms will be equipped with a variety of sensory equipment to help individuals explore and regulate their sensory experiences.

Quiet Spaces

We will offer quiet areas where individuals can retreat if they need a break or some solitude.

Interactive Learning Spaces

We plan to offer interactive learning spaces equipped with technology and educational tools to support learning and skill development.

Outdoor Playground

Where available, we will offer secure outdoor playgrounds to allow for physical activity and outdoor exploration.

Community Lounge

A welcoming space for families and caregivers to relax and connect with others.

Therapy Room

Once established, we aim to provide private therapy rooms available for one-on-one or group therapy sessions to cover a variety of crucial areas.
